The RS tank is notorious for fuel cut issues. The basic idea is that when you are cornering, the fuel sloshes away for the fuel pump causing the fuel to cut out. Obviously it is not good to starve your engine for fuel. In the US for WRX/STI models after '02, Subaru added extra baffling around the fuel pump pick area to cure this.

Here is your standard Walbro 255 lph fuel pmup and install kit. Also pictured is a fuel pump assembly from an STI. Note the inline fuel filter.
